Disney on Ice

One of the blessings of living in Colorado is living close to the Budweiser Center which hosts lots of fun events throughout the year including Disney on Ice!  Thanks to my sister who knows how to find all the bargians we got 7 row seats at an amazing price.  The plan was for me to take Caleb & Emily and my sister Bonnie would come with Makenna.  Unfortunately, Makenna got sick so Bonnie and her were unable to come.  I called Caleb's best friend from school Olivia and her mom and they came to enjoy the fun!  The kids had a great time and the show was wonderful.

For the past few years my sister Bonnie has held an Easter Egg Hunt for all her friends. For the last few years I have just heard all about all the fun over the phone, but this year Caleb, Emily and I got the pleasure of attending! It was so fun to meet her friends, spending time with grandpa's bunnies and hunt for eggs. The kids had a blast and brought home lots of loot!

In addition to Bonnie's Easter egg hunt we also attend a special needs Easter Egg Hunt at Colorado State University. It was super fun for the whole family and we really enjoyed meeting other families with kids with Down syndrome.
